Every time I see M16, I think of Nefertiti, ancient queen of Egypt. Eyes closed, chin up, she is regal and everything I imagine a Star Queen to be.

This image of M16 was taken at the 2023 Starfest in Ayton, Ontario. It was my first time at a star party and I don’t think I could have found a better one to attend. Starfest is the largest star party in Canada and one of the top star parties in the world. It happens every summer. You should stop in.
