Can you really teach an object that is nearly 11 000 000 years old a new trick? Well, I suppose you can present it in an uncommon orientation. Can you see the wizard if it’s upside down?
I started taking this image while trying out my new mount, the Avalon M-Uno. The mount allows me to take extraordinarily long exposures. In this image I was experimenting with exposures up to 1800 seconds long and still getting pin-point stars with exceptional tracking. Ever try to take a steady picture at night? Think about a 30 minute night exposure that tracks a moving object. Welcome to astrophotography!
